World UFO Day - June 24 & July 2
Sat Jun 24th

World Ufo Day

Two separate dates are commemorated on World UFO Day. The first widely reported UFO sighting on this day in 1947 by aviator Kenneth Arnold on June 24th is recognized by the first widely reported UFO sighting on this day in 1947. The event, which occurred in Roswell, New Mexico, in the same year, was commemorated on July 2nd.

Human sightings of strange and unexplained objects in the sky existed before 1947, but no written record of humans seeing them existed before 1947. However, following the Arnold and Roswell incidents, however, news of the Arnold and Roswell incidents soared sharply.

Many investigating the sightings rated them on a scale. Josef Allen Hynek, one of the few astronomers who was investigating the sightings, wrote several books about the UFO research. From Nocturnal Lights to Close Encounters of the Third Kind, the Hyneck scale assigns a score based on proximity.

Humans are always curious about otherworldly beings, whether it be unusual lights in the sky or strange occurrences. Our imaginations are still alive thanks to movies and television series. Conspiracy theories are still relevant, as well.

The world's fascination with objects in the sky has certainly increased during the twentieth century. H.G. Wells wrote a tale that later became a radio play before the 1947 sightings. Its broadcast across the airwaves had some troubling results! Many of the radio listeners suspect they were under attack by Martians, according to War of the Worlds, which was published in 1898 and later broadcast by CBS radio in 1938. The drama, narrated by Orson Welles, ignited imaginations. Listen to the episode here.

How to celebrate #worldufoday

Look to the skies to see if you can find an Unidentified Flying Object. Review videos and photos of unexplained objects in the sky to see if there is a scientific explanation for them. Watch a film from outside the world. Perhaps dine a meal from an alien-themed restaurant. Visit any number of UFO museums, particularly Rosewell, New Mexico. The history of the world ufo day has dominated history

World UFO Day is observed on June 24th and July 2nd. The event's organizers wanted to raise the possibility of UFO sightings and ban rumors of them.
