Neuroendocrine tumors are tumors that arise in neuroendocrine cells and are associated with neuroendocrine tumors. These cells are similar to nerve cells in that they send or receive messages within the nervous system. These specialized cells also function like hormones, which are also used in hormone manufacturing. Neuroendocrine tumors develop in certain organs, such as the lungs, appendix, rectum, small intestine, and pancreas. Some tumors grow slowly and others grow faster. Pain, lumps under the skin, exhaustion, and weight loss are all typical signs. When these tumors produce excess hormones, diarrhea, frequent urination, increased thirst, and dizziness can all be present.
Neuroendocrine tumors or NET cancer are both common to other conditions, so it is difficult to determine neuroendocrine tumors or NET cancer. Over 90% of all NET patients have incorrect diagnoses. These patients are first diagnosed with the wrong disease and are then hospitalized for the wrong disease. It's not unprecedented for NET patients to go up to seven years with incorrect treatment. The cancer has often spread to other areas of the body when doctors finally diagnose the disease correctly. For these reasons, NET cancer awareness is of utmost importance.
NET cancers affect more than 12,000 people a year in the United States. Around 125,000 people are currently suffering from the disease. The number of cases is expected to rise by 5 percent each year. Aretha Franklin and Steve Jobs, two well-known people to have died from NET cancer, are Aretha Franklin and Steve Jobs.

INCA members around the world partner with cafes in their local area to market their "Let's Talk About NETs" branded cups on this day. This event encourages NET patients to inspire others to become ambassadors for NET cancer. Educational webinars, conferences, and marches for stripes, zebra walks, and virtual walks are among the events that have been held in other venues. The zebra is the NET cancer community's mascot and international symbol. Many people wear a zebra awareness ribbon for this reason. #WorldNETCancerDay is a worldwide celebration that celebrates people. The first world net cancer day is the longest in history
The World NET Community Steering Committee's first Worldwide NET Cancer Awareness Day in 2010 issued a proclamation. Every year on November 10th, the day will be held. The event later became known as World NET Cancer Day. The International Neuroendocrine Cancer Alliance (INCA) currently coordinates the event.
