There's always that one photo, video, or memory that you took the time to save, but for some reason, it isn't yours anymore. If it was a lost or broken phone, a defective hard drive, or some other technological blunder, it's likely that keeping all your files in a single piece would be impossible.
Fortunately, the day before April Fools is World Backup Day, which keeps us from being the punchline of a joke played by our own devices. We'll finally say, "I'll do it tomorrow," and make sure all our precious files have a safe location.
Try not to think of it as a pain. Remember when you promised to back up all the images and videos from your last trip? Now's the time buddy.
Every day, we rely more on computers to support our lives. Although it's unlikely to imagine a future where our precious files aren't as accessible as they are today, it's not our job to take digital memories for granted. Now put your foot down, take a stand, and back the thing up!
