When is National Veep Day?

Wednesday August 9th

The succession plan of the President of the United States' President on August 9th is recognized on National Veep Day. Gerald Ford, the day's vice president, was also acknowledged by the day for one president who was neither elected vice president nor president.

If the President is ousted from office, or inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the Same will devolve on the Vice President, and the Congress will determine whether the Officer will act as President, until the Disability is removed, or a President is elected.

In the history of the United States, 14 vice presidents have served as President. After completing their terms as vice president, only 5 of them were reelected at some point. Due to the president's death, the other eight ascended to the presidency. And then there is one vice president who became president who was never elected at all.
