National Read Across America Day - Dr. Seuss Day - March 2

All children and youth in every community around the United States are encouraged to celebrate reading this holiday. They are encouraged to read wherever they are at anytime. These are all great ways to spark reading in children.

  • Keep books wherever you go. Put them in the car, in every room of the house, and tuck them in backpacks and purses. Make them easily available
  • Visit the library often. A love of reading as well as genuine admiration for the library's services libraries provide is aided by knowing how to use the library and discovering the benefits of a library
