When is National Nougat Day?

On March 26th, a soft and chewy, or even hard and crunchy candy often found in a candy bar's center.

There are three specific varieties of nougats that include:

White nougat is made with beaten egg whites and honey and is made with beaten egg whites and honey.
Brown nougat – made without egg whites and has a firmer, often crunchy texture – is made without egg whites and has a firmer, often crunchy texture.
