When is National Gingerbread Cookie Day?

Tuesday November 21st

On November 21st, National Gingerbread Cookie Day encourages us to purchase the rolling pin and cookie cutters. The baking will make the house warm, and decorating will inspire us to make delectable cookies while making memories.

NATIONAL GINGERBREAD COOKIE DAY – November 21

On June 5th, National Gingerbread Day will take place. Gregory of Nicopolis, an Armenian monk, introduced gingerbread to Europe around 992 AD and taught French Christians how to bake it. Gingerbread was often used in religious ceremonies and was baked to be durable because it was usually molded into saints' images.

Gingerbread cookies also make sturdy walls for sweet houses, and the day is just in time for some exercise before National Gingerbread House Day on December 12th. Don't forget to make those delectable gingerbread families that can be decorated by the children in your household.
