A Boy Scout came to his rescue on a foggy day in London for American newspaperman William Dickson Boyce, who became lost when a Boy Scout arrived to his rescue. Boyce arrived at his destination after following the boy's lead. The Boy Scout refused to tell Boyce that it was a good deed because it was a good deed.
Boyce was inspired to group similar youth groups into one group. Boyce filed papers of incorporation on February 8, 1910, and the Boy Scouts of America was established.
