When is Girl Scout Founder's Day?

Girl Scout founders and all the wonderful things Scouting has done for girls since its inception on October 31st. It honors the birth of Juliet Gordon Low, the founder.

For both girls, the day is special. It's a good time to consider who we want to be, let our imaginations run wild, and turn those aspirations into reality. We can truly transform ourselves into something new, bolder, and more daring than we ever imagined possible.

Girl Scouting in the United States of America began on March 12, 1912, when Juliette Gordon Low organized the first Girl Scout troop meeting. There were 18 girls attending the first troop meeting in Savannah, Georgia, on Saturday, Georgia. Juliette Gordon Low's daughters developed enrichment services, service projects, and outdoor adventures and adventures. Girl Scouts have increased to over 3.7 million members since the first meeting.
