What is World Goth Day?

Every year on May 22nd World Goth Day, the Goth scene is commemorated. The day also gives Goth's presence known to the rest of the world.

If you see a person with pale skin wearing dark clothing, you might associate them with the Gothic subculture. This subculture in England began in the 1980s, usually shortened to Goth. Goths are known to find beauty in things that other people regard as dark. Some people misinterpret them as evil because of their passion for the dark side. This is not the case, however, because Goths are not immoral, not immoral.

Goths are unfortunately, very misunderstood. Others may think them depressed or a loner. However, this is not how Goths usually think about themselves. They love to laugh, but not everyone knows their sense of humor.
