What is National Fudge Day?
NATIONAL FUDGE DAY (June 16) | NATIONAL FUDGE DAY (June 16) | June 16th.
On June 16th, National Fudge Day comes around each year, allowing you to indulge in your favorite flavor of this delectable confectionery. Chocolate, chocolate nut, peanut butter, maple, and maple nut are among the most popular fudge flavors.
When it comes to flavors, Fudge lends itself to experimentation. A new delectable fudge can be made using either of Blending's favorite recipes or even a moment of inspiration. On National Fudge Day, adding bits of candy, nuts, or sprinkles will bring just the right celebratory burst of excitement to an old favorite.
Some shops on Mackinac Island, Michigan, began to produce similar products as the Vassar College fudge and sold it to summer vacationers in the late 19th century. In some of the original shops on the island's historic island, Fudge is still made.
We're invited to celebrate three other fudge holidays as well. To celebrate all those nutty fudges, check out May 12th. Penuche Fudge Day is July 22nd in the United States. We'll all remember Peanut Butter Fudge Day on November 20th.
