What is National Blueberry Pancake Day?

The sweetness of blueberries will be added to your pancake, flapjack, or hotcake on January 28th, National Blueberry Pancake Day.

The early pancakes were made mostly of flour and milk and were more like biscuits, and were mostly made of flour and milk. Eggs, milk, a leavening agent (such as baking powder), and fat were all added later, resulting in the fluffier, lighter pancake we see today.

When mixing up the ingredients, adding blueberries to the pancake batter may result in a bluish hue. To prevent this, add them right after dropping dollops of batter to the hot griddle.

Blueberries add a touch of freshness to pancakes and essential minerals such as vitamin K, vitamin C, manganese, and copper.
