On March 27th, International Medical Science Liaison Day recognizes the vital role Medical Science Liaisons (MSL) plays in a company's success.

MSLs have been increasingly important to the companies' success, since being first established by Upjohn Pharmaceuticals in 1967, they have become increasingly important to the company's success. "Today, MSLs are scientific experts to internal colleagues at their companies; they help ensure that the drug or product they support are used properly by physicians; and serve as scientific peers and sources within the medical community."
