What is International Me/cfs Awareness Day?
International ME/CFS Awareness Day, which takes place every year, raises the alarm of a condition called myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome. It's also a day to highlight other chronic immunological and neurological disorders (CIND).
ME/CFS, a debilitating and complicated disorder, is debilitating. Overwhelming exhaustion is one of ME/CFS' most common signs. This exhaustion can keep those with the disease from doing their regular everyday activities. It can also discourage people from doing simple tasks, such as taking a shower. People are bedridden for lengthy stretches of time as a result of severe cases. Many with ME/CFS are unable to function properly, so they should not just rest to feel better. After any form of physical or mental activity, the exhaustion is usually worse. ME/CFS has an effect on every area of life, including education and work. Their social lives are also affected by this.
