National Tortilla Chip Day

On February 24th, a crunchy chip that offers a multitude of ways to enjoy it. The day also includes information about the chip's past and many ways to enjoy this delectable snack dish.

Everyone loves tortilla chips! We most often served them with salsa, chile con queso, acamole, cheese dips, or other dips. Tortilla chips are made from corn tortillas cut into wedges and then fried and then fried. Corn, vegetable oil, salt, and water are all used to make tortillas. With melted or shredded cheese, the tortilla chips are served. Additional toppings are often added, such as meat, salsa, refried beans, tomatoes, diced onion, lettuce, olives, jalapenos, and sour cream.
