National Random Acts Of Light Day

Oftentimes, it takes just one gentle word or small token to help with the darkness. National Random Acts of Light Day, June 13th, encourages us to bring the light of cancer by surprising someone with an act of kindness.

Unfortunately, being diagnosed with cancer is one of the worst times a person can have. Random Acts of Light, however, as part of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walks fundraising effort, Random Acts of Light raises the importance of providing cures. More importantly, the group provides blood cancer patients with drugs.

Take a friend fishing or bring them their favorite cup of coffee. The light is brought into the room by a simple stroll, a walk, or a new bouquet of flowers. Add a touch of sparkle to someone you love by giving them a sparkle on their day.
