NATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT APPRECIATION DAY – January 9
Mon Jan 9th

National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

On January 9th each year, citizens take the lead in showing their support for National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

Law Enforcement Officers of every rank and rank have chosen a career that puts their lives on the line for their families every day. They've answered a call to public service that is both urgent and often unappreciated.

Their positions command dedication, both local, state, and federal. Many thankless jobs that take them away from their families for long hours. They are extremely unlikely to know what their days have in store for them. Often, law enforcement are the only paid ambulance service a neighborhood has. To make communities safer, they are more often working in collaboration with other local, state, and federal agencies.

On National Law Enforcement Day, we have the opportunity to thank them for their service and give them a token of appreciation.
