National Keto Day
With an eye on improving our health, National Keto Day, January 5th, is a day that celebrates our health. According to new studies, the high-fat, low-carb ketogenic, or keto diet has a variety of health benefits.
Benefits
Weight loss and improved blood sugar regulation are two of the keto diet's most notable health benefits. When sticking to a ketogenic diet, however, studies have shown improved glycemic control for those with type 2 diabetes.
Other health benefits of a keto diet may include improved cholesterol and blood pressure support. It may also be helpful to those with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
