Many of us are unaware of the amount of healthy exercise we can get when working outside in the garden. It involves a lot of walking back and forth as well as bending up and down as well as other activities. Being out in the fresh air and sunshine is also a benefit. Incorporating stretching into a gardening routine can help avoid injury, as it does for any athletic pursuit. Adding those squats will help with muscle building or maintaining muscle, and extra steps may make gardening more enjoyable, as it raises the heart rate. Gardening and exercise are both great stress relievers.

Get your muscles moving by pulling those weeds, planting some seeds, and planting some seeds. Your garden will be stunning, and you will be able to feel amazing, too.
