National Cinema Day

On September 3 National Cinema Day honors movie enthusiasts around the country and encourages them to return to the theater and enjoy a movie on the big screen.

#NationalCinemaDay We all have fond memories of going to the movie theater. It was thrilling to see our favorite movie star on the screen. Without a box of fresh buttered popcorn and our favorite drink in hand, no movie was complete without a box of fresh buttered popcorn and our favorite drink. Were lucky, we might have some candy as well. Everyone is encouraged to attend a movie on National Cinema Day to relive the thrilling sensation of seeing your favorite movie star on the big screen.

Behind the scenes

Movies have existed since the late 1800s. Louis Le Prince is lauded for coming up with the idea of moving images on a screen. His Praxinoscope creation, a single-lens camera with the ability to shoot 12 frames per second, was His Praxinoscope. When Le Prince was killed by an unknown person, he was in the process of patenting his invention. Even though Le Prince died before his death, he inspired an industry that captivates us just as much as the original films did.

Thomas edison is credited with inventing the first device to sell a motion picture, although he was skeptical of his theory

Motion pictures have come a long way since the start. As technology has advanced, so has the manufacturing of what we see on the screen. The audience was awed by the ability to see moving people on the screen during the early years of movie production. Movies were black and white, with no sound, and no sound was heard. Live music was playing inside a theater for the majority of the time as the film came on the screen. Today, moviegoers can expect to see amazing graphics, realistic stunts, and even record top music scores.
