National Canine Lymphoma Awareness Day

National Canine Lymphoma Awareness Day educates and raises concerns about canine lymphoma on November 7th.

Terry Simons, the well-known and respected dog agility trainer and competitor, received devastating news in 2011. Lymphoma diagnosed Simon's "heart and soul" dog, Reveille, with Lymphoma. Terry did everything he could for Reveille as an educated dog owner. However, he soon discovered how difficult to find options and treatments could be. Terry Soon, Terry was linked with professionals. They aided him in choosing the right path for his beloved companion.

Reveille not only competed in dog agility throughout her recovery, but she thrived. She also had the best agility year of her career. When Terry decided to let Reveille go, he knew he was making the right decision for her. However, grief does strange things. It can destroy, but it can inspire. Reveille inspired Terry's case to establish a foundation. Terry developed CLEAR (Canine Lymphoma Education Awareness and Research), in honor of Reveille's in honor of her sister, Terry. The foundation is dedicated to assisting the public with education, assistance, and study into the devastating disease. Dog owners know their choices, according to Reveille's legacy. They have become empowered advocates for their four-legged family members.
