Every year, we honor those we affectionately refer to as Bubba in our lives. The name may have arisen from the way young children learn to shorten the word brother.

T. Bubba Bechtol, a comedian, founded National Bubba Day to honor everyone we call Bubba. The day had been scheduled to May 1st but was postponed to June 2nd in honor of his wife, Bubbalicious, but it was postponed to June 2nd.
