Depending on the type of nystagmus, medications, and symptoms, results will vary. About 1 in every 1000 babies are born with nystagmus, but adults are also affected by it.

Although no cure exists, contact lenses, glasses, insulin, and even surgical intervention are all common problems. Early intervention is crucial in several disorders.
