Each year, National Donald Duck Day on June 9th honors a comedic animated cartoon character's birthday. In The Wise Little Hen, Donald Duck made his first screen appearance on June 9, 1934.

Donald Duck is most well-known for his semi-intelligible speech, as well as his mischievous and irritable demeanor. He has appeared in more films than in any other Disney character. Donald was also listed by TV Guide in 2002 as one of the top cartoon characters of all time in 2002.

During Donald's second appearance in Orphanage's Benefit, he introduced Mickey Mouse, his comedic buddy. Daisy Duck, Donald's mother, was born shortly after, as were his nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie.

Donald is also known for his appearance in comic books and newspaper comic strips in addition to animation. "Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy," one of Donald Duck's most popular sayings is "Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy."

National donald duck day is the first national donald duck day in history

National Donald Duck Day was first announced by Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley in 1984 on Donald's 50th birthday. As a token in honor of the big day, the world's most popular duck gave the city a silver statue of himself. He also toured the country leading up to the big Disney birthday party bash.

Camembert, Brie, and Chaource are all examples of the process-related to soft cheeses with a "bloomy rind" such as Camembert, Brie, and Chaource. Although these types of cheese were not new, Kraft's process for making these cheeses was not new.

Elizabeth Anderson continued her education in France and obtained her license in 1865 after being refused admission to medical school in the United Kingdom. She was the first woman in France to do so, as well as the first British woman to obtain a medical degree. She would later co-found the London School of Medicine for Women.

Cole Porter, a composer and songwriter, is best known for his hit show tunes like "I've Got You Under My Skin," "I Get a Kick Out of You," and "Anything Goes."
