National Cartoonists Day

Each year, National Cartoonists Day honors all those talented ink-stained artists, past and present, as well as the beautiful works they have created. Their contributions have brought humor, entertainment, and entertainment into our lives over the years, while still sparking discussion and discussion, as well.

Richard Outcault (January 14, 1863 – September 25, 1928) is the creator of the modern comic strip. He studied at the McMicken University's School of Design in Cincinnati for three years at 15 years of age. The Yellow Kid and Buster Brown comic strip was created by Outcault.

The readers of the New York World discovered an exciting new addition to their morning newspaper on Sunday, May 5, 1895. They discovered Outcault's full-color drawings featuring a large-eared, barefoot little boy with a mischievous grin on the pages. The first commercially successful cartoon icon, Hogan's Alley, would later be known as The Yellow Kid. The first color version of the cartoon called Hogan's Alley would later become known as The Yellow Kid.
