World Rat Day
Every year on April 4th, World Rat Day honors this vivacious rodent. It's also a day to promote the idea of having rats as pets.
Do you recoil at the sight of a rat? Or perhaps even the mere mention of a rat brings you reeling. The rat is considered a highly intelligent animal, which you may not know. Some people keep rats as pets because they are so smart, that some people keep rats as pets. Rats are also tamed, and they are simple to care for. Rats are also extremely curious, social, and full of personality. These rodents make excellent pets due to all of these characteristics. Rat owners should know that these animals, like most pets, need to be exercised. Owners should take them out of the cage at least once a day for about an hour.

There are seven species of rats. Standard, Rex, Tailless, Hairless, Satin, Dumbo, and Bristle coat are among the many variations on offer. Rats also have 40 distinct coat colors. History has rat day in the world rat day
Rat owners took to the internet in 2002 to discuss a potential day dedicated to their beloved animals. They wanted to start a World Rat Day that would encourage rats as pets. These rat lovers preferred April 4th as it was the date that The "Ratlist" began on April 4th. The "Ratlist" is the oldest mailing list on the internet dedicated to pet rats.
