BATHTUB PARTY DAY – December 5
Tue Dec 5th

Bathtub Party Day

The Bathtub Party Day encourages us all to avoid the traditional shower and linger in the tub instead. Add some suds to the tub and pamper yourself on December 5th.

A bathtub party sounds suspiciously like a packed affair, but it doesn't have to be one. Granted, if you have young children, it's a time saver to plunking two or three of them in the tub at once. Some of the most memorable times raising children are getting them all suds up and playing with the water toys. When everyone has some good clean fun, it also saves water.

The benefits of a slow soak in the tub add up quickly for the adults.

  • During cold and flu season, a steamy bath helps to clear our sinuses and increase our oxygen intake. It also increases our circulation
  • The warm water helps with inflammation, relieving achy joints and sore muscles. It also helps with stress reduction
  • Cold hands and feet, or even a chilled body in general, are among the outdoor temperatures that can be found outside. We're right up for a soak in a hot tub
  • Our skin loves the heat from the bath, but be sure to moisturize, too. To get the most benefit from your Bathtub Party, add bath oil to your bathwater

Enjoy all the benefits of a Bathtub Party and celebrate with bubbles of all sorts!

How to celebrate #bathtubpartyday

Make your favorite bath bomb, a good book, and a glass of Moscato, and relax in the tub. To post on social media, use the hashtag #BathtubPartyDay. Be sure to use soap behind your ears, too.
