Consider rationally and post #FreethoughtDay on social media.
THE DAY HISTORY OF NATIONAL FREETHOUGHT THOUGHT HISTORY. Several organisations that have existed since at least 1997 have celebrated Freethought Day. Just a few of the Freethought Society, American Humanist Association, and Secular Coalition For America are only a few of the many organizations that include the Freethought Society, American Humanist Association, and Secular Coalition For America.
The organizers selected October 12th in honor of a string of events dating back to the Salem Witch Trials in 1692. The trial was suspended due to disputed evidence and devils' claims by devils and specters. The hysteria surrounding the case and a letter sent by Massachusetts Governor William Phips on October 12th made "spectral evidence" inadmissible in court. At least 20 people had already been executed up to that point, up to that point. Hundreds of people were killed by the governor's letter.
The trials did resume and "spectral evidence" was allowed, but the majority of the charges were quickly dismissed and those who were not guilty were quickly pardoned by Phips.
