Surgical oncologists can help diagnose cancer and treat it by surgery. They may needle biopsy to obtain a sample or perform surgery to remove all or portions of the cancerous tissue. At the same time, they collaborate with a team of experts to ensure you receive the highest quality medical care available.
Surgical oncologists also continue to learn more and better understand the variety of cancers we encounter daily. Physicians are always looking for ways to support their patients. Surgical oncologists push toward a cure every day, from cutting edge techniques to the latest in research and therapies. Their dedication and leadership in the field of oncology make a difference in cancer patients' lives today and tomorrow.
