National Be Someone Day
National Be Someone Day, July 21st, encourages each of us to take ten seconds to make a difference in a child's life.
#besomeoneday
What can you do in ten seconds? We can shift gears or water a plant. We can hear or tell a bad joke. We can change our minds in ten seconds, and after doing so, we can say a prayer of thanks. We can feel the pain in someone's eyes as we step into a room at that time and begin to provide support. We should praise and praise someone who deserving it.
We can also commit to reporting child violence. On July 21st, pledge to make a difference in a child's life. Most importantly, be someone who can tell you if a child trusts you enough and tells you they are being abused. Ten seconds can make a child's life change.
